Alphonse Mucha - Primrose and Feather (1899)
Just look at her straight across the room and go:
No, but really. I’ve asked out every single boyfriend I’ve ever had, and I always do it by saying something along the lines of: “Hey, do you want to catch a movie this (insert day)?”
Movies are the best kind of first dates, because there’s not a lot of awkward chit chat and you can make a lot of inside jokes out of them (especially if it’s a terrible movie).
Other ways to word the question include:
"I could use some froyo after school, wanna join?"
"Would you be interested in going on a date with me?"
"How would you feel about you and me going on a (pause for shy effect), you know… a date?" (and then smile all shy like and blush a little)
Even tell her what you told me:
"I’ve never met someone as (insert adjectives to describe why you like this girl, ie. funny, smart, beautiful, etc.) you. Would you like to go on a date with me this weekend?"
The most important thing you can remember is that the odds of you getting rejected are probably super minimal. Seriously, if this girl fits your personality as well as you say she does, then she probably wants to go out with you as much as you want to date her!
Sorry for the long answer, and good luck dearest anon!
I usually just refer to it as semi-realistic or realistic cartoon.
But, to be honest, I always have a hard time figuring out what exactly to call it. It’s definitely not 100% cartoon, nor is it 100% realistic. And it is definitely not Manga.
Sorry for the sucky answer… have a nice day!
